From remakes of Louis Armstrong's Hot Seven tracks to a tuba duet of Teddy Bear's Picnic, the CD is a fresh look at some traditional jazz numbers. The Hot Licks Jazz Band CD was shortlisted for the 2011 Bell Jazz Awards in the category of Best New Australian Traditional Jazz Album for 2010.
